NFL Champion Leonard Marshall Will Keynote Cannabis Expo

Former NFL champion Leonard Marshall is more than just a star defensive end who won a Super Bowl with the Giants. He’s a successful business entrepreneur.

Marshall has also been diagnosed with the degenerative brain disease, CTE (Chronic Rheumatic Encephalopathy).

These attributes will make him an enlightening keynote speaker at this year’s Cannabis World Congress & Business Exposition (CWCBExpo), which will be held in NYC from June 15-17 at the  Jacob Javits Center.

CWCBExpo NY is the leading trade show and conference for the medical cannabis and legalized marijuana industry. The industry’s leading businesses, experts, and advocacy groups are participating.

Marshall’s Keynote on Thursday, June 16, will precede the all-star thought leadership panel on “CTE, Concussions and CBD,” which Marshall will also moderate.

As a successful athlete, businessman, medical cannabis business investor, philanthropist and family man, Marshall will inspire CWCBExpo attendees on what it takes to overcome challenges and obstacles to succeed.

“I am ecstatic to be participating in CWCBExpo and keynoting and moderating the thought leadership panel. With my background and experience in football and with CTE, I’ll be able to bring a first-hand perspective to this important topic. I look forward to addressing this issue in such a professional and well planned forum along with the other athletes,” said Leonard Marshall.

“We are honored to have the charismatic Leonard Marshall as a Keynote Speaker. As a champion NFL player, CTE advocate and successful entrepreneur, his unique insight, tenacity against the odds, and proven business acumen is the perfect fit for our event,” said Christine Ianuzzi, Managing Partner & Show Director of CWCBExpo events.

The Congress, and Marshall’s panel and Keynote in particular, are hoping to elevate the discussion, awareness and advancements of the benefits of medical marijuana and a legalized cannabis industry.

Joining Marshall on the “CTE, Concussion and CBD;” thought leadership panel include a line-up of current and former NFL players and even a former pro hockey player, Riley D. Cote (Philadelphia Flyers).

Joining the athletes will be Heather Jackson, CEO of Realm of Caring. She heads up a non-profit advocacy group that provides support services and resources to those using cannabinoid products.
