Rapper Mally Mall Wants Weed To Be The New Currency

Mally Mall ordered a mobile massage treatment session, and when it was over, he offered to pay in weed. When they refused, Mall wouldn’t pay at all.

They’re Both Green

Los Angeles-based rapper and music producer Mally Mall has worked with music industry icons like Usher, Drake, and Chris Brown. And according to the owner of a “mobile salon” that provides spa services on the go, he also skipped out on a bill after his offer to pay for a massage and facial with weed was shot down.

Mally Mall wants weed to be the new currency, but so far, he’s not having much luck.

Paying With Weed?

Mally Mall has a history of making odd headlines, and this isn’t the first time he’s offered someone an unusual “gift.” Recently, the rapper and producer made celebrity headlines when he gifted Justin Bieber, a monkey that was later seized by German Police.

This time, word got out thanks to an online post by Anne Fisher. Fisher owns the mobile salon Spa-Go. She posted about an unnamed “musical professional” who called to order spa services to his home in Beverly Hills at 1 a.m. Investigations later revealed that professional to be Mally Mall.

According to Fisher, Mall smoked cannabis throughout the treatment session, and when it was over, he offered to pay the massage staff with weed. When they refused, Mall wouldn’t pay them at all.

Not Cool, Man

Mally Mall is apparently insisting he never ordered the services, a claim Fisher strongly refutes:

“He certainly did order,” wrote Fisher. “Aestheticians and massage staff don’t show up at your house as a gift from God.”

When Fisher got in touch with Mall’s agent, she did manage to recover $200 from the rapper, but that total falls far short of the total cost of Mall’s late-night at-home spa treatments.

But maybe Mally Mall isn’t the coolest guy. In 2014, a concierge service owned by Mall became tangled in a federal human trafficking investigation.

That business, which Mall ran out of a home in Las Vegas, is called Las Vegas Concierge. The Las Vegas Review-Journal identified it as really an “escort service.”

Mally Mall’s people weren’t available for comment, but from the looks of it, the L.A. music producer has a hard time paying people what they’re owed in cold hard cash.
