Lil Wayne Walks Off Stage

Long Story Short

While performing at a medical cannabis festival in southern California this weekend, rapper Lil Wayne apparently got so pissed off he walked off stage in the middle of his performance. So far, nobody knows what happened to make the rapper so upset.

Here’s What Happened

Lil Wayne was the headlining act at last weekend’s Medical Cannabis Concentrates Cup in San Bernardino, California. But four songs into his show, he suddenly got really upset, dropped the mic, and stormed off the stage. He was supposed to perform for a full hour.

In a video taken by a fan, Wayne can be seen looking over to the side of the stage and saying:

“Don’t you ever call me to do this shit again. Don’t you, ever, ever, ever, ask me to do this shit again.”

His sudden exit left pretty much everyone confused. An event organizer released a statement that said: “We have no idea why, after a stellar performance by B.o.B, Lil Wayne suddenly ended his performance after just four songs when he was contractually committed to performing for an hour for the fans.”

“We are truly baffled by why Lil Wayne would do this in front of thousands of Cannabis Cup attendees—in total disregard for his fans—and are awaiting an explanation from his team.”

So far Wayne hasn’t given any explanations to anyone. But it isn’t the first time he’s done something like this. In fact, he did pretty much the exact same thing last year at a show in Italy.

Were The Fans Too High?

Some concert goers speculated that Wayne got angry when the crowd wasn’t as hyped up as he wanted them to be. Apparently, his attempts to get the crowd moving didn’t go too well, and that may have frustrated him.

But Wayne’s definitely no stranger to weed. In fact, he was one of the headline performers at this year’s official 420 rally in Colorado. So he shouldn’t be that surprised if a concert full of people who’d probably been smoking all day long was a bit sluggish. Whatever happened last weekend, it sounds like Lil Wayne’s tantrum was a serious buzzkill.
