Cannabis Oil Cures Boy
Today, medical marijuana is increasingly being hailed by healthcare professionals as a potential alternative treatment for certain cancers. While research is still scant, stories abound about last-minute marijuana oil miracle cures, and this story about Utah’s Landon Riddle, a three-year-old boy diagnosed with cancer, is one of them.
Landon was diagnosed with Leukemia, and as his condition got worse, doctors told his family that their son had an 8-10% chance of living for more than a day or two.
“His whole chest was full of leukemia tumors, which is why he couldn’t breathe. They started him on chemo, but told us that he probably wasn’t going to make it,” his mother, Sierra Riddle said.
Landon was on chemotherapy treatments for two months. As a young child, Landon was especially sensitive to the harsh side effects of chemo. Landon was constantly nauseous, often vomiting, and frequently refusing to eat.
When Landon began throwing up more than 50 times a day, the doctors began to lose hope in the chemotherapy treatments, even as they saw no other solution.
The suggestion that Landon try treating his Leukemia with cannabis oil came from an unexpected source: his grandmother.
“We discussed all of our concerns with his medical team in Utah and watched Landon continue to suffer and wither away as they piled on the drug after drug. Then my mother came across cannabis oil online,” Riddle said.
Cannabis is prohibited in the state of Utah, so the family packed up and moved to Colorado, where it was easy to obtain a prescription for proper cannabis oil treatments.
Like other patients have reported, it took just a few days for Landon’s vomiting to subside and his appetite to return.
Sierra Riddle, Landon’s mother, had been blogging the entire ordeal with her son. Her post from a few days after Landon began taking CBD oil reports on the treatment’s success.
“Our hearts were filled with joy that cannabis brought back the smile to Landon’s face. Landon started getting better and better! It was as if a miracle had happened! He was smiling again and started to eat again!” Now, Landon’s cancer is in remission.
