Activist Prankster Trolls London Cops By Opening Cannabis Pop-Up Shop

The activist prankster Ital Samson strikes again with a cannabis pop-up shop. Known as “Black the Ripper” on social media, Samson built his reputation trolling London cops with various cannabis-related pranks. His latest stunt involves a cannabis pop-up shop he opened less than a quarter mile from the nearest police station.

Black The Ripper’s Newest Weed Prank

Black the Ripper advertised the pop-up shop on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Billed as a one-day event, the ads brought out dozens as crowds gathered inside and around the store.

Samson called the shop “Dank of England.” He invited anyone in Gloucester interested in smoking up to stop by for a little weed-themed celebration.

The pop-up shop and the very public nature of the “event” attracted the attention of Gloucester police. Samson used it as an opportunity for more trolling.

In an Instagram video posted during the event, Black the Ripper lays into police, making fun of their efforts to shut down the event and even their haircuts.

What Went Down At The Pop-Up Shop

According to witnesses at the scene, the “Dank of England” pop-up shop was selling cannabis-themed merchandise. Behind the racks of key chains and t-shirts, it was easy to smell the potent cannabis behind closed doors.

The ads for the pop-up shop did not specify what items were being sold there. Online photographs did show Samson holding up gigantic bags filled with pounds of cannabis buds.

By the time police showed up, every teenager in the vicinity seemed to know about the pop-up shop, and upwards of several dozen people had gathered there.

Police cars were seen cruising through the area, but none stopped. Police spokesman said they were dealing with the pop-up shop through “other avenues.”

Eventually, a few officers entered the pop-up shop. But that just gave Black the Ripper another opportunity for some trolling.

The video he posted to Instagram shows the London pot prankster waving bags of hash in front of the police, making fun of their haircuts, and even demanding that they pay for the damages they caused to the pop-up shop.

A Day In The Life of Black The Ripper

Through both his music and his performance stunts, Black the Ripper has become an internet celebrity famous for the cannabis pranks he pulls off all across London.

His calling card is simple: smoke up in public and don’t apologize for it. Samson describes himself as a “motivated stoner.” He regularly posts videos of himself on social media smoking weed in very public places.

It is Samson’s fearlessness and his irreverent attitude toward the UK’s cannabis laws and the cops who try to enforce them that makes his approach so entertaining.

Until the pop-up shop prank yesterday, Black the Ripper’s most famous stunt was easily hotboxing a pod on the London Eye, a huge Ferris wheel in downtown London.

Black the Ripper and a handful of friends turned the famous tourist landmark into the world’s most amazing site for a smoke session. The London Eye consists of fairly roomy glass pods that riders can “rent” to enjoy stunning vistas of the city.

Samson and a few buds rented one of the pods. As soon as it left the station, they all lit up. By the time they reached the top of the ride, the entire glass pod was filled with weed smoke.

Just another day in the life of Black the Ripper.
