Dangerous Pests And Diseases That Could Kill Your Weed

Mites

the-most-dangerous-pests-and-diseases-that-could-kill-your-weed-plants

Spider mites are a common cannabis pest that can be difficult to eliminate. Of all the mites that terrorize cannabis spider mites are the most visible.

You’ll see tiny yellow, orange or white speckles around your plant leaves. Unfortunately, they’re small enough for many growers to miss before it’s too late.

Spider mites have a rapid reproduction rate. In fact, a single female spider mite can produce a million mites in less than a month.

They will eat your plants in a short amount of time and leave a fine mesh of silk webbing, leaving your harvest ruined.

Broad mites are too tiny to be spotted even with a microscope. However, you can tell if your plant has them by its appearance.

In fact, your plant will start to look like one of those fake plastic plants. The leaves will be glossy and turned up.

What to do: Your best bet is to catch on to the mites early and act immediately. Spider mites love heat and non-moving air so turn on a fan to circulate air and cool things down. You’ll be killing two mites with one stone.

As for broad mites, they don’t like the heat, so you’ll have to treat them differently. You can use a pesticide, but you risk contaminating your weed with harsh chemicals.
