UFC fighter Nate Diaz decided to puff on a vape pen during a post-fight press conference.

He wasn’t shy about what he was doing, either. He could have lied and pretended it was an e-cigarette but he told reporters “It’s CBD.”

CBD, short for cannabidiol, is one of the most important cannabinoids produced by weed. Its’ responsible for a  lot of the plant’s medical properties.

Diaz was puffing on a form of concentrated CBD that doesn’t get you high, but that does give users a lot of health benefits.

The MMA fighter used the press conference as an opportunity to educate people about cannabinoids like CBD.

“It helps with the healing process and inflammation and stuff like that,” he explained.

“So you wanna get these for before, after the fight, training. It’ll make your life a better place,” he said.
