Cannabis Tampons Actually Exist And They’ll Cure Your Cramps And Pains

A new innovation in medicine, cannabis tampons may be the all-natural and highly effective way for women to treat menstrual cramps and pains.

A new innovative company in the medicinal cannabis industry may have found an all-natural and highly effective way for women to treat menstrual cramps and pains. No, they’re not actually cannabis tampons but rather small capsules called Foria Relief. When inserted directly into the vagina these cannabis tampons provide powerful pain relief.

Foria Relief

Cannabis Tampons Actually Exist And They'll Cure Your Cramps And Pains

Foria Relief is “the first—and only—cannabis suppository on the market dedicated to treating menstrual cramps.” It contains only three ingredients: organic cocoa butter, THC oil, and CBD Isolate.

Foria says that the combination of THC and CBD it uses in the suppositories was specifically designed to “activate certain cannabinoid receptors in the pelvic region when introduced into the body.”

Foria Relief is the newest product to come from cannabis company Foria, which has already established itself as something of a hero among female cannabis enthusiasts thanks to its marijuana-infused, stimulating personal lubricant, Foria Pleasure.

“Cannabis has a long, cross-cultural history of use as a natural aid in easing symptoms associated with menstruation,” the company’s website says.

“Our intention is to share the powerful medicinal properties of this plant while utilizing modern extraction techniques to standardize purity and potency, thereby ensuring a safe and accessible experience for all women.”

How the “Cannabis Tampons” Work

While Foria products currently can only be purchased in Colorado and California, the company’s newest innovation has already been met with excitement and anticipation.

“It’s an exciting idea for those with bad PMS, and a potentially life-changing one for the estimated 5 million who suffer from endometriosis—a chronic incurable condition,” Abby Haglage told Green Rush Daily.

“If successful at relieving menstrual cramps,” she added, “the suppository could even be an option for reducing pain during childbirth.”

And for those worried about putting things inside their bodies, the folks at Foria assure users that the cannabis used in Foria Relief is grown without the use of pesticides. It’s also undergone extensive testing to ensure there are no harmful microbial or contaminants in the final product.
